We are an independent neighbourhood pharmacy serving the Westwood and St. James areas of Winnipeg. Ryan is a co-owner and pharmacy manager at Assiniboine Pharmacy. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2001, and has spent his entire career working in community pharmacies, the last 15 of which were in the St. James / Westwood area of Winnipeg. Ryan loves to travel, and to talk about travelling - this has led him to obtain a Certificate in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine. Ryan is also a panel member with the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada, the licensing body for new pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Canada. In 2020, Ryan was elected the the Council of the College of Pharmacy of Manitoba. Ryan is a certified fitter of compression garments. In his free time, Ryan enjoys swimming, golfing and reading.
Kris is a co-owner and pharmacist at Assiniboine Pharmacy. He graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba in 2001. With having over 19 years of professional experience as a retail staff pharmacist, retail pharmacy manager, long-term care pharmacy manager, pharmacy business owner and consultant pharmacist in long-term care, Kris has gained a broad range of clinical knowledge in varying capacities in the pharmaceutical field. His keen interest in finding the most effective and efficient ways to support residents in long-term care prompted Kris to obtain his Board Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy from 2010 to 2020. He always strives to achieve and maintain high standards of quality pharmacy services with patient care being his number one priority.

If Assiniboine Pharmacy was a football team, Cheryl would be the quarterback. In her role as pharmacy technician, she ensures that prescriptions make their way through the dispensing process in an efficient manner. After earning her pharmacy technician diploma in 2004, Cheryl has worked continuously in community pharmacy. When pharmacy technicians became regulated in Manitoba, Cheryl completed the necessary bridging requirement and passed her qualifying examinations to become one of just over 200 listed Pharmacy Technicians in Manitoba. She is always looking to expand her abilities to her full scope of practice. Cheryl loves travel, food, and spending time with family and friends.
